Membership of the Great Wine Capitals Global Network provides an unprecedented opportunity for key local government, industry bodies and education institutions to work together within South Australia and across our 18 wine regions to develop an agreed program of activities of mutual benefit.

There is an understanding between the founding partners to work together in a collaborative manner for the benefit of:

  • the membership of the network
  • the wine industry
  • the State of South Australia.

The program partners of Adelaide's membership in the Great Wine Capitals Global Network are the Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA), South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC), South Australian Wine Industry Association (SAWIA), and the University of Adelaide (UoA).
